ColStaZzz began as a small idea in a noisy city — a place where comfort food could feel like an event. Today, from our home in HBR Layout, Bangalore, we serve sizzling cast-iron plates, slow-pressed coffees and the coolest coleslaw sandwiches to a city that knows what good tastes like.
At ColStaZzz, we did not set out to build just another café. We set out to restore something the modern dining industry quietly lost — warmth with precision, comfort with character, and hospitality that feels deeply personal.
Today's urban dining landscape is crowded with concepts, but increasingly disconnected from experience. Food is often optimized for speed, aesthetics, or algorithms, while authenticity, consistency, and emotional connection are left behind. The void was clear: Bengaluru deserved a space where elevated comfort food could coexist with thoughtful service, refined ambience, and genuine human warmth.
ColStaZzz was born to bridge that gap.
Every crafted sizzler, every slow-pressed coffee, every signature coleslaw sandwich we serve is designed with intent — not merely to satisfy hunger, but to create memory. We believe comfort food should never feel ordinary. It should feel bespoke, layered with craftsmanship, and delivered with soul.
My journey across institutions like Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Management Indore, and International University of Applied Sciences, Berlin; combined with years of leadership in the Indian Navy, and experiences at Amazon and HC Robotics, shaped one defining philosophy: Excellence is never accidental!
The Navy taught discipline and systems. Technology taught scale and precision. Robotics taught consistency. Farming taught patience, purity, and respect for ingredients. Hospitality brought them all together.
